"I have been enjoying receiving acupuncture from Liz every month for over a year and I can't recommend her enough. She really listens and is in the room with clients for the entire session, even providing guided meditations. I had hip surgery and Liz has helped a lot with the recovery process. A couple of months ago my pelvis was out of alignment. I went to a physical therapist, massage therapist, and my doctor and they didn't help. “I went in to see Liz because I felt like I was at a physical, emotional, and psychological crossroads. On the surface I was experiencing serious symptoms attached to being on the cusp of menopause, but I was unconvinced I had to just sit around and “take it,” nor did I have any interest in the hormonal or surgical options my medical doctor talked with me about (run!). Underneath that I have suffered from chronic back pain since I was 14, which she noticed without my even explaining to her. After my first meeting with Liz I felt something “move.” Something serious shifted in my entire body and I dropped down several layers meditation wise as well to a deeper place of exploration. “Liz does great work! At the end of April, I had a fall. I broke my left arm, mashed my right knee and had to have surgery on my mangled right hand; nothing life-threatening, certainly, but I was pretty much unable to do anything for over a month. And in a lot of pain/discomfort. Since I couldn’t get around, I inquired if she could make a house call, pretty much assuming that that – wasn’t – going to happen, but she agreed to come! And she was very well prepared, with all her tools, music, etc. I had three sessions, and they were very helpful. Acupuncture, light Shiatsu, and some visualizations. All worked very effectively to ease my pain/discomfort and, I feel, helped speed up my recovery. I was, especially, having a lot of pain and awful cramps in my right hand. The acupuncture she did on it was just incredibly effective. The response was pretty profound and really quick; I’ve never had that dramatic a reaction to acupuncture. “I had been struggling with tendonitis in my shoulder for at least 6 months. The pain was significant enough that it impaired my ability to dress myself as well as other daily activities. At times, in addition to the muscle pain, I had nerve pain shooting down my arm; sometimes all day. A couple of months ago I had a treatment with my Naturopath.
